Choose whether to audition in-person on the National Audition Tour or send in a video. You may choose our Open Enrollment level if you do not wish to audition.

All dancers must submit a first arabesque photo and headshot. Trainee and Second Company applicants must also submit a resume, letter of recommendation and cover letter.

After you submit your in-person registration or video audition our team will confirm the time, date, and details via email. Put it in your calendar and we’ll see you at the barre!

Audition results will be sent out 5-10 days after your audition. Summer programs require only one audition. All 24/25 Year-Round programs require a second-round audition in-person at Ballet 5:8. February 19th and April 1st are the 2024 dates for second-round auditions.

All videos should be filmed in a well-lit studio, with plenty of space to dance. Please ensure that the entire combination is in the frame and that the total video is no longer than 5mn

At the Barre | One side only

Plié, tendu, jete, rond de jambe and grand battement

In the Center | One side only, en pointe if 16+

Adagio, including Grand plié, developés to each direction, penchée, promenade

Waltz, including Grand pirouette in any position, pirouettes en dehors and en dedans, pirouette finishing in any open extension

Petite Allegro, including jumps with battu

Grand Allegro, including tours for men and fouettés for women
